A significant organizational shift has taken place with the announcement of the new 33-member Khulna city committee for the Zia Shishu-Kishore Sangathan. This move is intended to invigorate the organization's grassroots presence and ensure more robust and dynamic activities in the region.
New Leadership in Khulna
Niaz Ahmed Tuhin has been appointed as the president, while Md Delwar Hossain takes on the role of general secretary. The committee also includes AKM Shafiqul Hossain, Sheikh Mohammad Mahbubul Alam, SM Abu Said, Banani Sultana Jhumu, AAK Alamgir, Khairul Alam, and Kausari Jahan Manju as vice-presidents. Additional key positions include SM Raihan Alamgir, Nurun Nahar Nazmun Nessa Jeba, Fakhrul Islam Shiblu, and Gazi Hasan Rumi as joint general secretaries, Ashraful Rahman Milon as organizing secretary, and Md Mizanur Rahman as assistant organizing secretary.
Md Sohel Hossain is named treasurer, and Md Farhad Hossain is the office secretary. Other significant roles include Saikat Md Sohag as publicity secretary, Farida Parvin Poly as women's affairs secretary, Sheikh Zahid Hossain as cultural affairs secretary, and Md Yunus Mia as sports secretary. Farhana Binte Hasan is the legal affairs secretary, and Md Shoeb Khan is the education affairs secretary. Enroz Khan Bahar is the information and research secretary, Shariful Islam is the art and fine affairs secretary, and Mizanur Rahman Jewel is the literature affairs secretary.
The executive members of the committee include Adnan Hasan, Tanvir Moniruzzaman Manik, Md Mahbub Hossain, Mohammad Sabur, Sultan Mahmud Joni, and Md Roni Sana. The committee was approved by the organization's central committee, ensuring a unified approach to the community's engagement and development.
