The conference, scheduled for June 23-24, aims to strengthen child protection systems, prevent violence against children, and enhance regional cooperation among South Asian countries.

Bangladesh's Participation
As the representative of Bangladesh, State Minister Farzana Sharmin will highlight the government's initiatives, achievements, and future plans in the child protection sector. She will also engage in discussions on critical issues related to child rights and welfare.
Reception and Welcome
Upon arrival at Colombo's Bandaranaike International Airport, the State Minister was welcomed by the Charge d'Affaires of the Bangladesh Embassy, Samarpan Barua.
