Koehler also referred to Bangladesh's involvement in the 'Sea Vision Exercise' in Singapore and expressed hope for future participation in the 'Rim of the Pacific' exercise. The discussions also included reviewing the progress of the General Security of Military Information Agreement (GSOMIA) between the two nations.
Bangladesh's commitment to global peace was reiterated by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, who said, 'Bangladesh has always stood for peace across the world.' The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials from both countries, including the Prime Minister's Foreign Affairs Adviser, Defence Adviser, US Ambassador to Bangladesh, and Bangladesh Ambassador to the United States.
