Bangladesh allrounder Mosaddek Hossain Saikat has expressed his determination to contribute according to the team's needs after earning a recall to the national T20 squad for the ongoing Zimbabwe tour. Mosaddek, who returned to Bangladesh's ODI side during the recent home series against Australia after a four-year hiatus, has retained his place in the squad for the three-match T20 series against Zimbabwe, marking his return to the shortest format after a lengthy break.

Ahead of the opening T20 match in Bulawayo, Mosaddek shared his high expectations for himself following his successful ODI comeback. "The expectations from myself are very high. I performed well after returning to the team and now I have to do even better. I have to play according to the team's needs," he said in a video message released by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

Mosaddek also discussed the conditions in Bulawayo, noting that they are different compared to Harare, where Bangladesh played the Test and ODI matches. "The conditions here are a bit different from Harare. The air is stronger, and the environment is slightly different," he said, adding that his goal is to make an impact in the match he starts in the playing XI.

"Whenever I get an opportunity to play, my goal is to make an impact and help the team win. That has always been my priority," Mosaddek remarked. Bangladesh will look to finish the Zimbabwe tour on a positive note when the three-match T20 series gets underway in Bulawayo tomorrow (Wednesday).
