Speaking in parliament during the discussion on the passage of a bill, the minister clarified, 'Many people have objected to my personal remark. I would like to say that I did not intend to make any comment targeting anyone. If anyone has been hurt, I simply say I am sorry (express my regret).'

The minister's comments came amid objections raised by several members regarding his earlier statement. Dr. Milon sought to reassure the parliament and the public that his words were not meant to offend or target any individual.
