Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapon today remarked that the newly-elected British Prime Minister's recent speech echoed Bangladesh Premier Tarique Rahman's vision 'I have a plan', which was announced after Rahman's return from London following Sheikh Hasina's downfall. Swapon highlighted that both leaders presented clear and credible plans for their nations' futures, emphasizing the importance of a roadmap for effective governance.

Plan-Based Leadership

Swapon made these remarks as the chief guest at a commemorative meeting organized by social organization 'Apon' at Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association. He noted that the British PM's use of the phrase 'I have a plan' reminded him of Rahman's philosophy of plan-based leadership, which he presented to the people of Bangladesh.

Commitment to Equal Rights

The minister emphasized that one of the fundamental principles of Tarique Rahman's plan is to ensure equal rights for all citizens regardless of religion, race, language, ethnicity, or culture.
