Sabbir Ahmed, who graduated from Horgongga College under the National University with a CGPA of 3.36, is currently pursuing a fully-funded PhD in Chemistry at Auburn University in Alabama, USA. Despite initial challenges, Sabbir's dedication to research and consistent efforts have led him to this prestigious opportunity. He attributes his success to his research work during his Master's at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) and his participation in international conferences.
Journey and Achievements
Sabbir's research at KUET included creating hydrogel from jute, which has applications in drug delivery and water purification, and a biodegradable film to reduce plastic use. His work earned him second place in an international conference at Rajshahi University among 400 presenters. He has published four research papers and attended multiple conferences, which significantly contributed to his scholarship success.
