Tanmoy Halder, a student from Tejgaon College under the National University, secured an Erasmus Mundus scholarship with a CGPA of 2.98. Despite the challenges posed by his low CGPA, Tanmoy's practical skills, lab experience, and research interest set him apart. He is currently pursuing the Human Diseases Models Morphological Phenotyping program.
Tanmoy attributes his success to his focus on lab work, workshops, and practical skills rather than just theoretical studies. He advises students to gain real-world experience and not to be discouraged by low CGPAs.
The Erasmus Mundus application process was rigorous, requiring Tanmoy to dedicate significant time to finding the right program and preparing accordingly. His perseverance and hard work ultimately paid off.
