Khulna Agricultural University Welcomes New Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asaduzzaman Sarkar

KHULNA - Newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Khulna Agricultural University (KAU), Prof. Dr. Md. Asaduzzaman Sarkar, formally assumed office today. Teachers, students, officers, and staff warmly welcomed the new vice-chancellor with flowers upon his arrival.

After taking charge, Prof. Sarkar exchanged views with teachers, officers, and employees. He emphasized the need for all stakeholders to work together to further strengthen the university's academic, research, innovation, and administrative activities.

Prof. Sarkar highlighted that Khulna Agricultural University is a promising institution for higher agricultural education and research in the country. He pledged to work with utmost sincerity to enhance the quality of education and research, expand international collaboration, promote technology-driven agricultural education, and develop students into skilled human resources.

The vice-chancellor also sought the cooperation of teachers, students, officers, and staff in the university's overall development. Prof. Sarkar is a professor in the Department of Agricultural Extension Education at Bangladesh Agricultural University.

His appointment is expected to bring significant advancements to KAU, contributing to the development of agricultural education and research in Bangladesh.
