The government has promoted additional secretaries Abu Sayeed Md Kamruzzaman and Md Mamunur Rashid Bhuiyan to the rank of secretary, effective immediately. The Public Administration Ministry issued two separate notifications today. Md Mamunur Rashid Bhuiyan, additional secretary (acting secretary) of the Information and Communication Technology Division, has been promoted to secretary and will continue in his current division. Abu Sayeed Md Kamruzzaman, executive director (additional secretary) of the Barind Multipurpose Development Authority (BMDA), has been promoted to secretary and appointed as chief executive officer of the Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority (BPPA).
