State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Aninda Islam Amit today underscored the government's commitment to carrying out development activities equally across every region of the country. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the renovation and widening of a four-kilometer stretch of the Chanchra–Rajganj GC Road in Sadar Upazila, Amit stated that the government does not discriminate based on political affiliation when implementing development projects.

Commitment to Equal Development

Amit highlighted that the government's approach to development is rooted in its election manifesto, which promises equal treatment and benefits for all citizens, irrespective of who voted for it. He emphasized that this commitment is evident in the various development projects being executed nationwide.

Before the national election, Amit had promised to renovate the Chanchra–Rajganj road. Despite the BNP receiving fewer votes in Chanchra Union during the last election, the government has initiated a road renovation project involving around Taka 4 crore in the area. This demonstrates the government's dedication to its people-oriented policies.

Recent Developments in Chanchra Union

In addition to the road renovation, the first Family Card distribution in Jashore was also launched in Chanchra Union. Furthermore, the 500-bed Medical College Hospital in Jashore, recently inaugurated by Prime Minister Tarek Rahman, is located in Chanchra Union. These projects signify the government's focus on improving local infrastructure and protecting the basic rights of citizens.
