94 Arrested in Dhaka's Motijheel Division Anti-Crime Raids

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Motijheel Division arrested 94 individuals in a series of anti-crime operations conducted on July 27. The raids targeted various areas under the Motijheel Division, resulting in the apprehension of suspects involved in different criminal activities.

Breakdown of Arrests by Police Station

The arrests were distributed across several police stations within the Motijheel Division. Specifically, 24 individuals were detained from Paltan Police Station, 30 from Shahjahanpur Police Station, 15 from Khilgaon Police Station, nine from Rampura Police Station, three from Mugda Police Station, 11 from Motijheel Police Station, and two from Sabujbagh Police Station.

Legal Proceedings

All arrested individuals were presented before the competent court as per legal procedures. The DMP's media and public relations division confirmed that the arrests were part of ongoing efforts to maintain law and order in the region.
