The World Ijtema will be held in two phases in Tongi, Gazipur. The first phase will take place from January 31 to February 2, and the second phase from February 7 to 9.
Home Affairs Adviser Mo. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury announced the dates after a meeting held at the Home Ministry on Monday. The meeting discussed the dates, law and order, overall security, and other relevant matters concerning the World Ijtema.
The Adviser mentioned that two slots have been determined for the World Ijtema, following previous practices. Constructive discussions have been held with the Ulema of Tabligh Jamaat, and further discussions will be held if necessary. The Adviser emphasized that there should be no division among the Ulema.
