National Citizen Party (NCP) Chief Organizer and Member of Parliament Hasnat Abdullah stated that the Sheikh family will no longer be able to lead Bangladesh, asserting that the people have rejected them through the July uprising.

Abdullah made these remarks during a meeting at the Chitalmari Central Shaheed Minar under Chitalmari upazila as part of the NCP's 'Desh Garte July Padayatra' programme. He emphasized the dream of building a new Bangladesh free from fascism, where all citizens will enjoy equal civil rights.

The meeting was presided over by Chitalmari Upazila NCP Chief Coordinator FM Shahriar Al Islam Jewel. Following the meeting, Abdullah led a 'July March' through the main roads of Chitalmari.
