The Bangladeshi government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, is intensifying efforts to reduce educated unemployment by providing skill development and vocational training to young graduates. State Minister for Youth and Sports, Md Aminul Haque, emphasized this goal during the 'Tiger Run 2026' event at Jahangirnagar University, highlighting the importance of practical skills in securing employment.

Aminul Haque noted that the government is collaborating with various organizations to offer training programs that prepare young people for meaningful employment. He stressed that this initiative aims to prevent educated youth from becoming idle and instead empower them to contribute positively to society and the economy.

The 'Tiger Run 2026' event, organized to commemorate World Tiger Day, was co-hosted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Forest Department, Youth Volunteer Alliance, Prottasha, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The program also aimed to raise awareness about wildlife conservation, particularly the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Sundarbans' biodiversity.

JU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan chaired the event, with Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Nazrul Islam and Prottasha Executive Director Monowara Begum in attendance. The initiative received praise from Aminul Haque for its role in educating the youth about wildlife and encouraging environmental protection.
