In an effort to tackle the persistent issues of dengue outbreaks and waterlogging, the Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) held a crucial meeting with the Real Estate and Developers Association (REDA). The discussions focused on collaborative strategies to enhance the city's cleanliness and infrastructure.

RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton, who attended as the chief guest, emphasized the need for collective action. "The city belongs to all and cooperation from all quarters is essential to build a more beautiful Rajshahi," he stated.

Riton highlighted plans to construct more Secondary Transfer Stations (STS) to modernize waste management. Additionally, ongoing larvicide and adulticide spray activities aim to control mosquito populations. He urged city dwellers to maintain cleanliness around their homes to help curb the dengue outbreak.

"A shared vision can transform Rajshahi into a clean, healthy, and waterlogging-free city," Riton said, seeking REDA's cooperation in achieving these goals. Chief Health Officer Dr. F A M Anjuman Ara Begum provided a keynote presentation on dengue prevention measures.

REDA General Secretary Mizanur Rahman Kazi and other representatives participated in the meeting, chaired by RCC Chief Executive Officer Rezaul Karim. The collaborative efforts aim to create a sustainable and healthy urban environment for Rajshahi's residents.
