LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today emphasized the critical role of doctors in developing a stronger and more people-oriented healthcare system. Speaking as the chief guest at the First Health Cadre Day 2026, organized by the BCS Health Cadre Association, the minister noted the inadequate number of doctors relative to the population and the shortages of personnel and infrastructure in government hospitals.
