Rajshahi University's Central Science Laboratory has inaugurated three state-of-the-art scientific research instruments today. The new equipment includes a Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM), an X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD), and an Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES).
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Professor Md. Abdul Alim, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration), and Professor Mamunur Rashid, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education), as special guests. Professor Md. Hamidul Haque, Acting Director of the Central Science Laboratory, spoke about the introduction and uses of these new instruments.
Other dignitaries present included Treasurer Professor Md. Motiar Rahman, Syndicate Member Professor Md. Rezaul Karim, Student Advisor Professor A H M Khurshid Alam, and Chairman of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering Professor Md. Abdul Matin. Teachers and researchers from various departments also attended the event.
These advanced instruments are expected to significantly enhance the research capabilities of the Central Science Laboratory, fostering innovation and contributing to scientific progress in Bangladesh.
