The Pakistan Government Higher Education Scholarship Eligibility Assessment Test was held at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) today in a fair and peaceful environment. The test aimed to evaluate the eligibility of Bangladeshi students seeking admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs under the Pakistan Government Higher Education Scholarship. BRUR served as one of the six designated regional test centers nationwide.

Test Participation and Details

A total of 140 undergraduate and postgraduate scholarship aspirants from the Rangpur region participated in the test, which was held at the university's Academic Building-3 from 12 noon to 2 pm. The scholarship covers full tuition fees, accommodation, allowances, and other educational assistance for international students at undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD levels in various renowned universities in Pakistan.

Director of the Center for BRUR Digital Transformation Professor Dr Md Mizanur Rahman, Programme Director of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan Rao Muhammad Azhar, Pakistan High Commission Cultural Secretary Anil Asghar Kalhoro, and Protocol Assistant Muhammad Anwar visited the test center. The visiting Pakistani guests commended the fair and peaceful organization of the examination and highlighted the scholarship program as a significant opportunity for Bangladeshi students to pursue higher education of international standard.
