The Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers Committee has directed all authorities concerned at examination centres to exercise the highest level of vigilance at every stage of receiving, storing, transporting and distributing Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination question papers. This directive aims to ensure the smooth and transparent conduct of the ongoing examinations while maintaining the utmost confidentiality of the question papers.

Directive Issued by Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu

The directive was issued today through an order signed by the committee's convener and Dhaka Education Board Examination Controller, Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu. This order emphasizes the need for utmost caution at every stage, from receiving the question papers at the centres to distributing them among examinees in the examination halls.

Stringent Measures for Question Paper Distribution

According to the directive issued to the officers-in-charge of all HSC examination centres across the country, no examination hall may be supplied with more question papers than required. After distribution, all unused question papers must be secured immediately in accordance with the prescribed procedures. Under no circumstances may any question paper, or any part of it, be taken outside the examination hall.

Compliance Urged from All Officials and Invigilators

The committee also urged all officials, invigilators and other personnel concerned with the examinations to strictly comply with these instructions. This measure is crucial to maintain the integrity and fairness of the HSC examinations.

Significance and Implications

The security of HSC examination question papers is of paramount importance to ensure that the examinations are conducted fairly and transparently. Any breach in security could lead to severe consequences, including the potential cancellation of exams and the undermining of students' trust in the examination system. These stringent measures are therefore essential to uphold the credibility of the HSC examinations.
