Japan is now a desirable destination for international students due to its advanced research facilities, technology-driven education system, world-class universities, and safe, culturally rich environment. A scholarship is available for those wishing to pursue higher education in Japan. International students can apply for this scholarship to study at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The application deadline is May 31, 2026.

Benefits

Selected students will receive one-time financial assistance, grants to cover educational expenses, the opportunity to study at a Japanese higher education institution, and a chance to receive up to five lakh Japanese yen (varies by program).

Eligibility

Applicants must be admitted to a Japanese university for the April-May 2026 session in an undergraduate or postgraduate program, be an international student, have a registered 'My Page' with Japan Study Support, and be proficient in both English and Japanese.
