IUBATI Summer Semester 2026: Welcoming Over 2,000 New Students

International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBATI) held its summer semester orientation on June 4, 2026, at its Uttara campus in Dhaka. The event, attended by over 2,000 new students and their guardians, featured speeches, cultural performances, and an introduction to university facilities and services.

The orientation included a presentation on IUBATI's mission, academic regulations, career services, library and IT facilities, student organizations, co-curricular activities, transportation, and other amenities. The program was chaired by IUBATI Vice-Chancellor Prof. Abdur Rob.

Key speakers included Prof. Arup Ratan Chowdhury, founder president of MAAS; Rupali Hoq Chowdhury, managing director of Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd.; Syed Alamgir, renowned marketing expert; Aardra Kurrien, CEO of UNNCO Hospitals PLC; and Ayman Sadiq, founder and CEO of 10 Minute School. Mashrufa Karim, first officer at Biman Bangladesh Airlines, addressed as an alumna representative.

Speakers emphasized ethics, leadership, innovative thinking, research-based education, and practical learning. They also highlighted the importance of time management, creative problem-solving, teamwork, and community service. The event concluded with a cultural evening featuring a performance by the popular band 'Joler Gaan'.
