The ICTP PWF: Physics for Bangladesh Online Summer Internship 2026, a joint initiative by the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and Physics Without Frontiers (PWF), aims to provide Bangladeshi students with hands-on research experience. This fully online program, running from July 20 to October 20, 2026, offers selected students the chance to work on short research projects under the guidance of international researchers and mentors.

The internship is open to students currently enrolled in bachelor's or master's programs at any recognized university or institution in Bangladesh. It covers four main research tracks: High Energy Physics, Gravity and Mathematical Physics; Astronomy, Astrophysics and Cosmology; Quantum Information, Condensed Matter and Statistical Physics; and Applied and Computational Physics.

Applications are accepted from June 8 to June 30, 2026, through a designated Google Form. Students are advised to review the list of mentors and choose projects that align with their interests and academic background.

Organizer Ahmed Rakib Kamal highlights that this initiative offers Bangladeshi students a unique opportunity to work with world-class researchers at no cost. Detailed application guidelines and mentor lists are available on the official website.
