The preliminary admission process for the first phase in 20 GST (General, Science, and Technology) cluster universities concludes today, Wednesday (June 10, 2026). This process began on June 7. Students must complete the admission process through the GST website and submit necessary documents in person.
According to the GST website, the preliminary admission process for the first phase must be completed by June 10 through the GST website as per the scheduled timeline. The preliminary admission fee of five thousand taka must be paid within this period.
Additionally, students who have confirmed their preliminary admission must submit their SSC and HSC or equivalent examination mark sheets along with other required documents between June 8 and June 11, from 10 AM to 4 PM, at any of the concerned universities. Applicants must mention their GST roll number while submitting the documents.
The website notification further states that if a student is nominated in any department of any university in the first merit list but does not complete the preliminary admission within the stipulated time, they will not have the opportunity to enroll in any other GST cluster university subsequently. Similarly, if a student cancels their preliminary admission, they will not be considered for admission in any GST cluster university in the future.
The notification also mentions that if a student permanently enrolls in a specific department during the migration process, they will not have the opportunity for automatic migration again. Detailed information and instructions regarding admission can be found on the GST cluster admission examination website and the online admission guidelines.
