9 Education Cadre Officers Transition to Administration, Police, and Audit Roles

Nine officers from the education cadre have left their positions to join the administration, police, and audit and accounts cadres.

Nine officers from the education cadre have left their positions to join the administration, police, and audit and accounts cadres. Five have joined the administration cadre, three have joined the audit and accounts cadre, and one has joined the police cadre. This information was disclosed in separate notifications from the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Education Ministry on Sunday (June 7, 2026).

The notifications stated that the officers were granted leave from the BCS General Education Cadre based on their applications and in accordance with government service laws. Among them, Ullas Pal, a lecturer at Naria Government College, has joined as an assistant commissioner in the administration cadre through the 44th BCS. Saima Sharmin, a lecturer at Alfadanga Government College, has also joined the administration cadre.

Sheikh Mohammad Shariful Islam, a lecturer at Narail Government Women's College, has joined the audit and accounts cadre. Additionally, Mo. Wazkurni, the deputy director of the Inspection and Audit Department (DIA), has joined the police cadre. Mohammad Tipu Sultan, an associate professor at Noakhali Government College, has joined the administration cadre. Mo. Chalauddin, an associate professor at Noakhali Government Women's College, has joined the audit and accounts cadre.

Furthermore, Mo. Majharul Islam, a lecturer at Magura Government Hossain Shahid Suhrawardy College, and Rifa Sonia, a lecturer at Pangsha Government College in Rajbari, have joined the administration cadre. Jannatul Mawa Mousumi, a lecturer at Patuakhali Government Women's College, has joined the audit and accounts cadre. Earlier, on May 4, 2026, the Education Ministry announced that five officers from the BCS Education Cadre had left their jobs to join other cadres, including administration.
