Dhaka University's International Relations Department has launched the 15th batch of the Professional Masters in International Relations (PMIIR) course, designed for working professionals. The program spans 18 months, divided into three semesters, with a total of 12 courses. Classes will be held on weekends to accommodate working individuals. Interested candidates can apply online by June 20, 2026. The course covers critical subjects such as international law, Bangladesh's foreign policy, global development, trade and governance, international security, South Asian affairs, and international diplomacy. It also includes a research module on international relations. Eligibility requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 or second-class division. The admission test will be held on June 26, 2026, and the final merit list will be based on 105 marks, including 5 marks for professional experience.
Course Details and Eligibility
The PMIIR course is structured to provide comprehensive knowledge in international relations, beneficial for careers in civil service, international organizations, multinational companies, NGOs, think tanks, and security agencies. The program is particularly encouraged for those with a postgraduate diploma in international relations. The application fee is 1,900 Taka.
