Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has extended an invitation for Qatari investment in Bangladesh through a letter addressed to the Amir of Qatar. This move aims to enhance economic relations between the two nations. Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman delivered the letter to Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi during a bilateral meeting in Manila.
Strengthening Bilateral Ties
The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the 50th anniversary commemoration of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC), saw discussions on a wide range of bilateral issues. Both sides expressed interest in advancing their longstanding relations.
