The Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCCI) organized a seminar titled "AI and Blockchain: Transforming Business, Industry and Trade" to highlight the expanding applications of AI and Blockchain across various sectors. Held at the BCCCI office in Gulshan, the event brought together business leaders, chamber members, technology experts, and media representatives. BCCCI President Mohd Khorshed Alam emphasized the need for responsible adoption of these technologies to enhance competitiveness. The seminar discussed the opportunities, challenges, and practical implications of integrating AI and Blockchain in business, banking, trade, logistics, and manufacturing. Keynote speaker Khondkar Atique-E-Rabbani, a fellow chartered accountant and a graduate of the University of Bradford in the UK, shared insights into the current and future applications of these technologies. An interactive discussion followed, focusing on the ethical use of AI and its impact on various industries. Participants shared practical examples of AI applications in banking, trade, and port operations, stressing the importance of responsible implementation. The event concluded with BCCCI reaffirming its commitment to promoting technological innovation and strengthening Bangladesh-China business and trade cooperation.
The seminar was attended by BCCCI Secretary General, members of the Board of Directors, chamber members, representatives of the Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh (OCAIB), business leaders, media representatives, and other distinguished guests. The discussions underscored the potential of AI and Blockchain to revolutionize business practices and improve efficiency, while also addressing the need for ethical considerations and responsible adoption.
