Nuruddin Ahmed and Mohammad Momin Hossain Elected to Lead Greater Dhaka Journalists Forum

NTV's Nuruddin Ahmed and RTV's Mohammad Momin Hossain have been elected as president and general secretary respectively of the Greater Dhaka Journalists Forum.

NTV's Nuruddin Ahmed and RTV's Mohammad Momin Hossain have been elected as president and general secretary respectively of the Greater Dhaka Journalists Forum in its biennial election held at the Jatiya Press Club today. The meeting was chaired by outgoing President Farid Hossain.

The newly elected committee includes Vice Presidents ABM Rafikur Rahman and SM Monirul Islam, Joint Secretary Anjan Rahman, Treasurer Shirin Sultana, Public Welfare Secretary Nurunnabi Robi, Cultural and Publications Secretary Suman Islam, Office Secretary Atikul Islam and six executive members.

A seven-member advisory council was also formed with Kartik Chatterjee, Farid Hossain, Shaheen Chowdhury, Hasan Hafiz, Morsalin Babla, Sahabuddin Sikder and Mahbub Alam as members.

The Greater Dhaka Journalists Forum is a significant organization representing journalists in the Dhaka region. The election of new leadership marks an important transition for the forum, which plays a crucial role in advocating for journalists' rights and welfare in Bangladesh.
