The monsoon, though delayed, has now spread across almost all parts of the country. Meteorologists say it will take time for the monsoon to become more active. However, the sporadic rain that has started in various parts of the country will continue for a few days. Today, Friday, rain is likely in some parts of four divisions. The temperature will not change much due to this. The weather office has also reported the possibility of rain in the capital today.

At the beginning of this month, there was intense heat across the country. At one point, heat waves were blowing in 48 districts of the country. This year, this situation did not occur. However, the temperature starts to drop towards the end of the week. At least the heat wave goes away.

Meteorologist Hafizur Rahman of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department told Prothom Alo today that although the monsoon has spread across the country, it will not rain continuously right now. However, sporadic rain may occur in various parts of the country.

Yesterday, Thursday, it also rained in various parts of the country. Among them, there was relatively more rain in Rangpur, Khulna, and Mymensingh divisions. The highest rainfall in the country yesterday was in Khulna, 72 millimeters. This amount of rain is considered heavy rain.

Yesterday, it rained in every station of Rangpur division. Among them, the highest rainfall was in Rajarhat of Kurigram, 48 millimeters.

Meteorologist Hafizur Rahman also reported the possibility of rain in the capital today. He said that there is a possibility of rain in the afternoon or evening.
