State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Sultan Salauddin Tuku announced that the government is taking effective measures to improve indigenous cattle breeds and strengthen farm management systems. He made these remarks while visiting the Central Cattle Breeding and Dairy Farm in Savar.

During his visit, the minister noted several positive developments at the farm. He highlighted the use of the farm's own grass production as cattle feed, describing it as a significant advancement. Tuku emphasized the importance of enhanced management practices to increase productivity and efficiency.
Inspection of Key Units
Tuku inspected various sections of the farm, including the calf section, dairy farm, Pabna cattle unit, Mirkadim unit, Holstein-Friesian unit, artificial insemination (AI) laboratory, breeding bull unit, and the 100 percent American Friesian bull. His visit aimed to review ongoing initiatives for the development of indigenous cattle breeds, fodder production, and overall farm infrastructure.

The State Minister provided necessary guidance to the officials present during the visit. Director General of the Department of Livestock Services Md. Shahjahan Khan, Director of the Central Cattle Breeding and Dairy Farm Md. Shahidul Islam, and other senior officials and employees were in attendance.
