Gas supply will be suspended for 8 hours from 12 noon to 8 pm tomorrow in several key areas of Dhaka for the replacement of old distribution and service lines. The affected areas include Free School Street, Bhuter Goli, Crescent Road, Al-Amin Road, and Kathalbagan.

Reason for Suspension

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company has announced the suspension to facilitate the replacement of leaking old distribution lines and service lines. This work is crucial to ensure the safety and reliability of the gas supply network in the capital. The company expressed sincere regret to customers for the temporary inconvenience.

Potential Impact

Residential and commercial customers in the affected areas will experience a complete cut-off of gas supply during the specified hours. Additionally, surrounding areas may experience low gas pressure. The company has urged customers to make necessary arrangements in advance to minimize disruption.
