Chittagong University (CU) will construct a 'July Memorial' on its campus to honor the martyrs of the 2024 July Uprising. CU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Forkan announced the decision, stating that construction will begin soon. Two students from the History Department, Shaheed Hridoy Chandra Tarua and Shaheed Farhad Hossain, were martyred during the uprising. Additionally, Mohammad Shuvo Hossain, a student from the Bangla Department, lost the sight in his right eye after being shot.
