63 Arrested in Anti-Crime Operations Across Dhaka by Dhaka Metropolitan Police

The Tejgaon Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 63 people in separate anti-crime drives on Saturday, July 25, 2026. The operation was part of routine efforts targeting various criminal activities in the area.

Among those arrested, four were detained from Tejgaon Police Station, 10 from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, 29 from Mohammadpur Police Station, nine from Adabor Police Station, one from Tejgaon Industrial area Police Station, and 10 from Hatirjheel Police Station.

The arrested individuals were subsequently produced before the court, as stated by the DMP. These operations highlight the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to maintain security and combat crime in Dhaka.

The Tejgaon Division, known for its dense population and commercial activities, often sees heightened police presence to ensure public safety. These arrests are part of a broader strategy to deter criminal activities and reassure residents.
