12 Superintendent-Rank Police Officers Transferred Nationwide in Bangladesh

The Home Ministry has transferred 12 SP-rank police officers to various locations across the country.

Twelve police officers holding the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) have been transferred to different locations across Bangladesh. The transfers were announced in a notification signed by Nasrin Sultana, Additional Secretary of the Police-1 Branch at the Home Ministry, on Thursday.

According to the notification, DC Mo. Abu Saim of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has been transferred to Panchagarh as SP. The current SP of Panchagarh, Mo. Mizanur Rahman, has been attached to the Police Headquarters in Dhaka. DC Monirul Islam of DMP has been made SP of Moulvibazar, while the current SP of Moulvibazar, Mo. Riazul Islam, has been attached to the Police Headquarters.

DC NM Nasir Uddin of the DMP's Media and Public Relations Division has been transferred to Noakhali as SP. The current SP of Noakhali, TM Mosharraf Hossain, has been made SP of CID. Additionally, DC Miya Mohammad Ashis Bin Hassan of DMP has been transferred to Jhenaidah as SP, and the current SP of Jhenaidah, Mo. Mahfuzur Rahman, has been made SP of APBAN.

The notification also states that Special SP of CID, Protyus Kumar Majumdar, has been made SP of Feni. DC Mohammad Mahbub Alam Khan of the Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) has been attached to the Police Headquarters. Furthermore, SP of Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), Mo. Rajiv Farhan, and SP of Tourist Police, Nihad Adnan Taiyan, have been attached to the DIG office of the Rangpur Range.

The order, issued in the public interest, will be effective immediately.
