International Master (IM) Md. Minhaz Uddin of the Bangladesh Navy has emerged as the unbeaten champion in the Anjans International Rapid Rating Chess Tournament. The tournament, held at the Chess Federation hall room, saw Minhaz secure the title with an impressive 7.5 points from eight games. His flawless performance throughout the competition solidified his position as the top player.

The Anjans International Rapid Rating Chess Tournament attracted a total of 169 participants, including four International Masters, one Woman International Master, seven FIDE Masters, and one Woman FIDE Master. The event was conducted in an eight-round Swiss-system format, ensuring a competitive and fair environment for all players.
Top Finishers
IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Bangladesh Ansar and Sonargaon University finished as the runner-up with seven points, while Candidate Master Md. Abu Hanif of Sadharan Bima Corporation Sporting Club claimed third place, also with seven points. The final positions of these players were determined by the tie-break system.
Other Notable Performances
Three players scored 6.5 points each. Based on the tie-break, International Master Manon Reja Neer of the Bangladesh Navy finished fourth, International Master Abu Sufian Shakil of Bangladesh Police Chess Club secured fifth, and FIDE Master Subrota Biswas of City Club finished sixth.
