On August 8, 2026, the Bangladesh Wushu Federation organized a vibrant rally in Dhaka to celebrate World Wushu-Kung Fu Day. The event aimed to promote and expand the practice of wushu and kung fu globally, highlighting their importance in promoting a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.

The rally was attended by Bangladesh Wushu Federation General Secretary Md Dildar Hasan Dilu, Vice-President S M Shahidul Haque Bhuiyan, Treasurer Habibur Rahman Siddiqui, and member Md Russell, along with numerous officials, coaches, judges, club representatives, and a large group of wushu athletes. The participants carried banners, festoons, and placards showcasing the positive messages and benefits of wushu and kung fu.
