Prime Minister Tareq Rahman expressed hope that with everyone's cooperation, the government will be able to build the 'desired Bangladesh'. He stated that the government is striving to gradually transform the country as envisioned by the people, including soldiers and ordinary citizens.

Addressing a friendly luncheon with officers and soldiers at Dhaka Cantonment on Eid-ul-Azha, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of everyone's role in nation-building. He emphasized that if everyone fulfills their specific duties from their respective positions, the desired country can certainly be built.

Tareq Rahman also reminisced about his childhood memories in Dhaka Cantonment, sharing stories of his time there and expressing gratitude to the soldiers for their sacrifices and dedication to the nation. He acknowledged their efforts in ensuring the safety and well-being of the people.

The event was organized by the 25th East Bengal Regiment of the Bangladesh Army at Zia Colony in Dhaka Cantonment. The Prime Minister also planted a tree and signed the visitor's book during the occasion.
