Opposition leader and Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Shafiqul Rahman has called for the full implementation of the Prime Minister's promise to deliver justice within 15 days in the Pallabi child murder case. Rahman emphasized the need for swift and sincere judicial action to restore public faith in the justice system.

Speaking to journalists at the National Heart Institute in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, where he visited the father of the murdered child, Rahman stated, 'We do not want to see any farce in the justice for the murder of Pallabi's child. The culture of various interventions that have created public distrust in justice must be eliminated.'

He further added, 'Honorable Prime Minister assured them at their home that justice would be delivered within 15 days. We want to see at least this promise fully implemented. If this happens, 180 million people in Bangladesh will be happy and pray for her. We want to pray for her and see justice delivered within 15 days.'

Rahman believes that if the judiciary works seriously, it is possible to complete the judicial proceedings within 15 working days and send the verdict to the High Court for swift implementation, potentially within a month.

He criticized the prolonged nature of justice, stating that it contributes to the continuation of crimes like murder and rape. Rahman called on lawyers not to stand for confessed rapists and murderers.

Accompanying Rahman were Jamaat-e-Islami's Central Executive Council Member Mobarak Hossain and Dhaka North City Amir Selim Uddin.
