The 'Technical Job Fair' organized by BDJobs.com, a job platform, was held at the Agriculturist Institution in the capital. The fair, which started at 9 AM on Tuesday and continued until 4:30 PM, saw job seekers from various trades including electricians, mechanics, technicians, and beauticians. A total of 76 local and international companies and technical institutions participated, aiming to hire around 3,000 people. Approximately 25,000 job seekers registered online for the event. The fair also featured two special seminars on 'CV Writing and Interview Techniques' and 'Employment in Japan,' along with discussions on free online skill development training by UNICEF and BDJobs.com.
Fahim Mashrur, CEO of BDJobs.com, stated, 'By acquiring skills in technical education, students can find good opportunities both domestically and in the international labor market. We hope that the job fair will make this path even smoother.'
