During the oath-taking and orientation ceremony for the 62nd MBBS batch of intern doctors at Rajshahi Medical College, Land Minister Mizanur Rahman Minu highlighted the essential role of humane behavior in the medical profession. Addressing the new doctors, Minu stressed that winning the hearts of patients requires amiable behavior and humane conduct, beyond merely obtaining medical qualifications.

As the chief guest, Minu congratulated the young doctors and urged them to reflect their oath in their professional lives through honesty, dedication, and patriotism. He called upon everyone to dedicate themselves to the service of the helpless and to uphold the honor of the institution. Minu also spoke about the government's efforts to enhance healthcare access, including plans for a new Dental Medical College and a specialized hospital in Rajshahi, in collaboration with the Chinese government.

The Land Minister recalled the illustrious heritage of Rajshahi Medical College, noting the success of its alumni both domestically and internationally. He also outlined the government's initiatives to develop the health sector in Rajshahi, emphasizing the completion of an unfinished 12-storey hospital and the full operationalization of the Children's Hospital.

The event was presided over by Brigadier General P K M Masud Ul Islam, Director of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, with several notable guests in attendance, including medical specialists and academic leaders from the college. Earlier in the ceremony, 216 intern doctors took their professional oaths.

This ceremony underscores the government's commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and professional standards in Bangladesh, aiming to deliver better healthcare services to the population.
