A daylong workshop titled 'Training on Digital Collaboration, Communication and Wikipedia' was held at the cafeteria of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) on Monday. Organized by the BRUR Scholarship Support Office in collaboration with kiK, GIZ, and Wikimedia Bangladesh, the event aimed to provide students with detailed insights into digital communication and practical strategies for contributing to Wikipedia.
Key Participants and Speakers
Vice-chancellor of BRUR Professor Dr Md Showkat Ali attended as the chief guest. Other notable participants included Professor Dr Md Shahzaman, Director of the university's Finance and Accounts Division, and Dr Md Moniruzzaman, Librarian of the Central Library and Information Center. The keynote speakers were Wikimedia Bangladesh Executive Member Shabab Mustafa, Bangla Wikipedia Admin Masum Al Hasan Rock, and Wikimedia Steward Muhammad Yahiya.
