This announcement came during the inaugural ceremony of the 'Workshop on Finalising the Framework of Four New Textbooks' for primary and secondary levels, held at the International Mother Language Institute auditorium.

Addressing Past Shortcomings

Milon acknowledged that past textbooks contained numerous spelling mistakes and inappropriate content, which had drawn severe criticism. He assured that this time, the government is undertaking intensive group-based work with education experts to clear away those deficiencies and prepare one hundred percent error-free books.
