Saeed Ibn Taqi, a Spoken English student at Iqra International Academy and gold medalist at the English Olympiad, was honoured at the institution's campus in Uposhohor. The honour was conferred during an event held on Tuesday evening.

The English Olympiad took place in London from June 21 to 27. Eleven contestants from Bangladesh participated, with nine winning gold medals and two securing silver medals.
