Jagannath University administration has decided that temporarily expelled students cannot participate in classes, semester activities, or exams during their expulsion period. This decision was approved at the 111th Syndicate meeting held on May 21, 2026. The university aims to maintain discipline and protect the academic environment with this decision. The administration believes this will help instill discipline among students and encourage them to follow university regulations. The decision will be implemented promptly. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mo. Rois Uddin mentioned that previously, students could attend classes or exams even after temporary expulsion, but the new Syndicate decision prohibits any academic involvement during expulsion.
