Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam Rita today underscored the government's priority on technical education to develop a skilled workforce and enhance employment opportunities. She highlighted various development programmes aimed at equipping young people with necessary skills and fostering self-reliance.

Government Initiatives

Minister Rita mentioned that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, is actively implementing initiatives to expand technical education. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to prepare the youth for the evolving job market and reduce unemployment.

Site Inspection and Future Plans

During her visit to Bil Pouly village in Saturia Upazila, the minister inspected a proposed site for the construction of a Technical Institute. The visit was attended by government officials and political party leaders, indicating a collaborative approach to these developmental projects.
