Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) Managing Director Golam Mortuza emphasized the need for branch managers to achieve all business targets in the current fiscal year to sustain the bank's profitability. Speaking at a daylong views-exchange and performance evaluation meeting titled 'Formulation and Implementation of Action Plan' for the Rajshahi Zone, Mortuza highlighted the government's aim to build a skilled, robust, and inclusive financial management system. He also noted the government's commitment to bringing banking services to people's doorsteps. The meeting, held at Nanking Darbar Hall, formulated a plan to disburse loans worth Tk 400 crore to customers in the 2026–27 fiscal year. Various action plans were discussed to provide better services to farmers, entrepreneurs, and environmentally friendly businesses. General Managers Taj Uddin Ahmed and Mizanur Rahman, along with Zonal Manager Mohabbat Ali Biswas, were present. Mohabbat Ali mentioned the bank's goal to reduce classified loans to 10 percent during the current fiscal year. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to branch managers for their outstanding performance.
