Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury announced today that the government is working tirelessly to preserve the grassroots-level culture and heritage of the country to ensure their balanced development. He made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at an exchange of views organized on the initiative of the Deputy Commissioner at the Jhenaidah District Administration conference room.

Call to Local Activists

The minister called upon local cultural activists to work together to further advance Jhenaidah's rich cultural heritage. He emphasized the importance of cultural practice in dispelling darkness and superstition from society and showing the path of light.

Government Patronage

Nitai Roy Chowdhury assured that the current government is providing appropriate patronage to cultural organizations and artists in every region of the country. In continuation of this, the Minister distributed financial grant checks from the Ministry of Cultural Affairs to various local cultural institutions and related individuals in Jhenaidah district.
