The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is probing nine executive engineers from the Barind Multipurpose Development Authority (BMDA) over allegations of tender manipulation involving Dr. Abdur Razzaque, a former Food and Agriculture Minister. These engineers were summoned to ascertain their involvement in the alleged corrupt practices.
The ACC has called these BMDA officials, including Executive Engineers Nazmul Huda, Enamul Qadir, Tofazzal Ali Sarkar, ATM Rafiqul Islam, Rezaul Islam, Rezaul Karim, Moniruzzaman, Rubina Khatun, and Sanjida Khanam Molly, in connection with the investigation into Dr. Abdur Razzaque's activities. They were notified by letter on August 3 and asked to appear for questioning.
