Refayatul Haider, Director of the Barishal Health Division, began at 10:00 am at a local hotel. The meeting assessed the progress of the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination efforts, alongside other health services, and discussed strategies to enhance ongoing health programs.

Dr. S. M. Ziauddin Haider, the Prime Minister's Special Assistant on Health Affairs, attended as the chief guest. Key participants included Barishal City Corporation Administrator Bilkis Akhtar Jahan Shirin, Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services Prof. Dr. Prabhat Chandra Biswas, and representatives from various health departments and UNICEF.
